Our house is 23 kilometres west of downtown Geraldton, in the Municipality of Greenstone. The site of Hardrock Property of Greenstone Gold Mines is about 20 km east of us. The final environment assessment has been approved, and construction of the new mine is scheduled for the coming year, 2021. Hundreds of workers will be coming and staying indefinitely. We anticipate the local housing market will soon be heating up. Our house is far enough away that we have zero concerns about noise, dust, or traffic.
The sites of Noront Resources Ltd. and KWG Resources Inc. in the Ring of Fire, 280 km north of Greenstone, are garnering a lot of attention. Greenstone is the gateway to what may well be the largest chromite deposits in the world as well as substantial base metals. Chromite is an essential ingredient in the manufacture of steel.
Greenstone is positioned to take advantage of coming prosperity.
